A late bloomer, the Amaranth is finally fading away and fall blending into winter here in the foothills of the Sierras.
I am hoping to enjoy leftovers and knitting today, finishing up a few more squares for the US Oliver raffle quilt and send them off to Kay on Monday. I will be avoiding Black Friday purchases but encouraging them tomorrow on my LYS day... such is the life in the retail knit shop world, where sales are slow on warm summer days, brisk when it is raining, and one must hope for the best in order to keep the doors open!
